Taylor Momsen’s Goth Style

Written by crish on September 5th, 2008

For those of you who aren’t still familiar with the name Taylor Momsen, she is little Jenny Humphrey of the hottest CW TV series today, Gossip Girl. Jenny Humphrey is that charming little sister of Dan. She usually dons dresses, skirts, and pastels. So it would actually surprise you that in real life she prefers gothic style. Just like in this Joan Jett-inspired ensemble. According to Taylor, she is loving Alexander Wang’s and D&G’s edgy styles. Well perhaps it’s part of Jenny Humphrey’s transformation in Gossip Girl? We will soon find out. Can’t wait for the next Gossip Girl this Monday.

Target for Celebrities

Written by crish on September 3rd, 2008

Who says Celebs don’t shop at Target? Target is not just for el cheapos like us you know (haha). Heidi Klum is one example. A successful model/host/Hollywood celebrity like her shops at Target too. :) Why wouldn’t she, right? Compared to Walmart, Target has the better looking clothes and better brands at an affordable price too. Just the mention of brands like Botkier, Richard Chai, Rogan, and Mizrahi among many others makes me fall in love with Target all over again. haha…

Want Chanel? How about a Bike? A Chanel Bike?

Written by crish on September 2nd, 2008

Hermes released a $3500 bike. So what do you think would a Chanel bike cost??? Hmm… tough question? Take a look at the Chanel bike below and see what makes it stand out… The bags/clutches on the end? Seems like flap bags to me! The seating… quilted… a Chanel mark. Hmm, what else? Other than that, it seems like an ordinary but elegant bike. The price? Guess… I’m guessing you got it wrong. It’s $17,000!

It’s Labor Day Holiday!

Written by crish on September 1st, 2008

As you are reading this, I’m probably out shopping because… it’s LABOR DAY!!! Yipee!!! But no, I’m not shopping for clothes, shoes, or bags… I’m shopping for HOME stuff. I’ve already written this post days ahead and I’ve just scheduled posting of this entry just like the rest of my entries here. Anyways, I won’t hold you off for too long. You should go out and check out the great deals too. But before I bid goodbye, I’m leaving you with a hysterical video. No, I don’t want to be mean. But I don’t know what Heidi Montag of MTV’s The Hills TV show was thinking when she made this video. UGH!

Gossip Girl Preview

Written by crish on August 31st, 2008

My dear viewers,

Aren’t you excited for fall? See, Fall is not only my fave season to dress up but it’s also my fave season for great TV shows. What’s showing this fall? OMG! Of course Gossip Girl is returning on LABOR DAY - September 1! So to keep you excited, here’s a 5 minute preview of what’s to come. Oh and by the way, PRISON BREAK is also back with Doctor Sarah… umm, I don’t really know how they’ll bring back the dead. Perhaps the head sent to Linc was just some other woman’s head that underwent facial reconstruction? Or perhaps they’ll say it was just a fake. But anyway, the bummer is, Prison Break is set at the same time as Gossip Girl. Other shows to watch this Fall include the likes of HEROES, The Hills (which is now showing), Dr. House, Grey’s Anatomy, and many others! So, happy viewing!

UGG’s Latest

Written by crish on August 30th, 2008

I must say that Fall is one of the best seasons to dress up. This upcoming season, you’re able to wear those fancy coats, boots, tights, and matching hats to go with it. You can wear relaxed and comfy clothes while still being fashionable. It’s not like winter wherein you have to wear several layers of really bulky tops. Think about long sleeves, sweaters, bubble jackets or heavy jackets for winter. So what I’m trying to say is, UGG has a something new for us this fall. Take a look at their collection. :)

A Fashionista’s Book

Written by crish on August 29th, 2008

I learned from DailySugar that Nina Garcia is launching a book…

Move over, LBD — it’s time to make room in the closet for 99 other essentials. The 100 must-have items for every woman’s wardrobe are revealed in The One Hundred: A Guide to the Pieces Every Stylish Woman Must Own, Nina Garcia’s latest book out today. Don’t be afraid to splurge: She promises these styles will always be in.

Well if I ever wanted to buy my next book, I’m pretty sure this has to be it. hahaha! Oh, and if one of your fashionista girlfriends is approaching her birthday, it’s a great gift to buy her!

Evening Dresses 40% Off at Bluefly!

Written by crish on August 28th, 2008

I must say that if I ever have to buy an evening dress for a special occasion, I will surely buy at Bluefly! If you have a wedding, debut, or formal occasion to attend to, it’s good to wear something luxe yet affordable. And a good tip, buy something that’s timeless or seasonless. That way, you can wear it again next time on another occasion with a different group of people. Bluefly is known for all year round sales and good deals. So if you want something designer but don’t wanna pay full price, then Bluefly is the way to go. In fact, they are having an evening dress sale right now.

I especially loev tihs Nicole Miller Dress but this is a less formal attire you can wear to cocktails and dinner parties. Also, this isn’t what I was referring to when I said seasonless. We’ll never know when printed dresses will go out of style but I still love this one. :) The Laundry dress above (black dress) is something you can buy for any formal occasion. That one is something I like, something I can wear any season and any year, and something on the cheaper side of things for just $165.
